What is All Animals about?
All Animals is a satirical story based on the famous book Animal Farm by George Orwell. The story tells of a group of animals who rebel against humanity. They no longer want to live as slaves and take power into their own hands. But their ideals prove difficult to maintain: the new regime makes their lives worse, not better.
Inspiration: Animal Farm by George Orwell
This production is a unique interpretation of Animal Farm, executed in the style of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. This unique approach gives the story a new dimension: the struggle for freedom, power, and equality is depicted in a compelling and sometimes bittersweet way.
About the production
Directed by Philippe van Schingen, and originally produced under the banner of De Kameraden, this version of All Animals was created. The video was edited for online display by Vincent van Trigt.
